Early parenthood requires decision after decision for you and your family.

When we work together, I support YOUR choices, but I am alongside you to provide evidence-based information and practical guidance as you navigate the grey. Inclusive, compassionate care is always my goal; the way our identities intersect with our role as a parent are front of mind as I work with clients. Anti-racist and LGBTQ-affirming service is of the utmost importance to me.

I’ve been an Oakley, Cincinnati transplant since 2016, by way of Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Chicago. I am trained by the Childbirth & Postpartum Professional Association as a Postpartum Doula. My graduate degree program at Miami University centered on adult learning & identity development, DEI, organizational change, and counseling. An educator and life-long learner, I spent my first dozen professional years on University campuses, teaching and mentoring students as they navigated university life. After my own experience welcoming two daughters into the world, and noticing a gap in wraparound postpartum care for new mothers, I felt called to take this skillset to support families in the tender postpartum season/early years of new parenthood.

As a patient and client myself, I often seek providers with some shared identities/experiences. It may be useful to know that my own postpartum experience includes two full-term live births in Cincinnati hospitals, a NICU stay, miscarriage, transitioning to daycare/full-time outside the home employment, two breastfeeding journeys (one exclusive pumping journey and one nursing + bottle feeding journey, both made possible with IBCLC and peer support), healing physical birth injuries and navigating birth trauma and postpartum anxiety, navigating minor medical procedures in the infant year (oral restrictions and myringotomy/ear tube surgery), and lots of joy, questioning, laughter, and stress. I enter this work after two vastly different postpartum experiences: one with few local connections and little attention to my own physical and mental wellness, the second with a precise focus on wellness and a cultivated local village of newborn moms alongside me to share the journey. Community & care made ALL the difference for me.

I am up to date on all vaccines, including flu, Tdap and COVID-19.

I am fueled by deep connection to community, my family, adventure + travel, and caffeine. I eat wayyy more ice cream than I should, am sometimes a bit of a hot mess, and can't resist singing and dancing along to Ingrid Michaelson or any feel-good music. I am so excited to support your journey in whatever ways you’ll allow me to.
