Postpartum
Power Circle:
A NEW Support Membership for
4th Trimester Postpartum Circle Alumnae
You Choose your Pricing
-
This price is intended for those navigating financial insecurity around day-to-day needs (for example: you do not own your home/property, you are navigating food insecurity and/or medical debt etc).
-
This is the standard cost of our monthly membership. We are relying on a majority of members to select this option to sustainably support our ongoing alumnae programming.
-
Membership at this level enhances Cincy Postpartum's ability to offer sliding scale access to our 4th Trimester Circles, and to reach stretch goals like offering our facilitators paid sick/caregiving leave.
-
Don’t want to be charged monthly? Pay a one-time flat fee and receive all the benefits, indefinitely!
What does membership include?
-
Connect in our thoughtfully organized Postpartum Power GroupMe space, facilitated by our founder, Amanda Laskowski.
Here you can continue your circle discussions with curated GroupMe channels (back-to-work/childcare, at-home rhythms, mental & physical health, and age-based channels.). Engage when you want to, mute when you need to!
This is a great chance to connect with alumni across many 4th Trimester circles and crowd source challenges/share wins.
-
Join our founder & postpartum doula Amanda monthly for a Postpartum Power Chat, live on Google Meet. Submit your reflections & questions ahead of time and connect in real-time with local postpartum pals who GET IT.
We’ll host one evening chat (typically Wednesdays 7:30-8:30pm), and one lunchtime chat (typically Fridays 12-1pm) each month. If calls become crowded we will add a third monthly option.
Join for one, or both!
Friday, 10/4, 12-1pm
Wednesday, 10/23, 7:30pm-8:30pm
Friday, 11/1, 12-1pm
Wednesday, 11/20, 7:30pm-8:30pm
Friday, 12/6, 12-1pm
Wednesday, 12/18, 7:30pm-8:30pm
(In early 2025, the Friday lunch sessions will likely switch to Mondays).
-
Once a month, we'll launch a survey to "match-make" interested members for a meet-up.
We will align matches based on availability & age, so you can connect 1:1 for a mom date or play date, or co-create a meet-up for the circle community to join along.
We envision an evolving menu of programming + events,
as membership and facilitator
capacity grows.
Your membership supports our growing vision!
More about the
Monthly
Postpartum Power Chats
Before each call, we’ll invite you to submit a personal reflection. You’re encouraged to complete this even if you can’t join us, as you’ll get a copy to keep, too. Time to slow down and reflect during the postpartum season is SO valuable, but SO hard to come by! Submission is not required to join in
As part of the reflection, you’ll be invited to include any topics/questions you’d like to bring up in the call.
After each video call, we’ll share a chat transcript with the member community, including any resources/links shared. Your personal reflections will only be viewed by Amanda.
More about the
GroupMe
Discussion Space
Support & connection at your fingertips!
Via designated discussion channels, you’ll find chatter about topics that support YOU (physical & mental health, back to work/childcare, at-home routines & rhyhms), as well as channels to support baby as they grow.
Ask a question, answer a question! GroupMe feels a bit like reddit discussion threads, paired with some of the intimacy/locality you might experience in a Facebook group.
In this closed & private community, you can engage on YOUR timeline. Any participant-led meet-ups will be programmed here for RSVPs, too.
Note: the EVENTS & EXCHANGES GroupMe will remain separate and FREE to all alumni at this time. This Postpartum Power GroupMe space will be similar to, but slowly replace, the existing FULL CERVIX alumni group chats that we’ve hosted (and truly treasured!).
But Amanda,
I want to circle up IN PERSON
I know. I prefer seeing you in person, too!
Sometimes virtual is just not the same.
Because we value in-person opportunities to connect, we’ll facilitate a monthly meet up pairing for any interested members, connecting you based on similar availability/location/ages. Plan a 1:1 “mom date” or “play date”, or even better, add your meet-up to the GroupMe calendar for others to join as they’re able. We have suggestions for locations/activities to ease decision-making.
Beyond the 4th Trimester, life gets BUSY as “regular activities” resume. Sickness, travel, sleep routines, and more get in the way of fully participating in substantive commitments. In our experience offering programming to moms beyond the 4th Trimester, we've found increased accessibility with online discussions. Join late if running behind, join while pumping or feeding, join in your jammies, etc. This brings the support of circles right to your home/office.
But sometimes virtual CAN be great,
and in this case, we see virtual as a
CATALYST
for in-person connections.
FAQs
-
Our Power Chats are for alumnae (moms) of 4th Trimester circles*. We are targeting those with infants under 18 months, but will not kick alumnae out as babies age, and welcome alumnae with older babies who feel drawn to this support.
You'll decide when you want your membership to end; cancel anytime. As we build administrative processes, our intention is to reach out as you near 18 months postpartum, to confirm you'd like to stop your payments.
For now, we are not putting a cap on how many can join. If live chats become too crowded, we will add additional chat slots. We value intimacy, but also believe this POWER community will be more powerful with more voices!
*Note: Alumnae who have graduated from our prior Life in At Home Parenthood, Life After Leave, Back to Work, Life After the 4th, and (former) Postpartum Power circles are invited to join! This programming will replace those prior programs.
-
We’ve experimented with various programming for parents 3-6 months and 3-12 months, including:
… cohort-based circles meant exclusively for moms back to paid work (evening/weekend times)
… cohort-based circles targeted towards those primarily at-home with baby (weekday times)
… circles for couples. We loved these programs, AND, consistent participation in a cohort-based program was challenging due to external commitments, sickness, travel, etc. We saw the need for more flexible programming.
While we get our footing with this new format, we'd like to start with participants who have the foundational support our 4th Trimester circles offers.
Ultimately, we see the 4th Trimester circle as a universal entry point to our postpartum community. We may eventually create additional “on ramps” to accessing this support.

Life gets BUSY as “regular activities” resume. Sickness, travel, sleep routines, and more can get in the way of fully participating in substantive commitments. We've found the most accessibility for participants with online discussions. Join late if needed, join while pumping or feeding, join in your jammies, etc. This brings the support of circles right to your home/office.
Outside of our membership, our goal is to offer quarterly alumni reunions for anyone who has participated in a circle (including non-members). Funds from this membership will support our capacity to plan such events.
-
Monthly chats are intentionally open-ended, allowing participants to submit questions and reflections ahead of each call, which will guide our discussions.
Transparently, we're building this plane as we fly, so the format will take more shape as we learn what's working best for all of us.
We have PLENTY we can talk about! We have facilitated various circle discussions in the past about marriage/partnership, work + family integration, introducing solid foods, self-care, adult friendships in this season of parenthood, physical & mental health, etc.
-
Yes, we are targeting those with at least one baby under 18 months with this programming!

We are targeting those with a baby under 18 months with this programming.
That said, we welcome alumni with older babies, and imagine you'll benefit from the programming, too. We will have discussion channels through age 2-4, and a channel for "older siblings", to support those with multiple kiddos.
