Shannon is a licensed independent social worker and therapist with certifications in perinatal mental health and mood disorders. She is a strong advocate for perinatal mental health and maternal wellbeing. She is a Cleveland native and has also lived in Cincinnati, where she attended her own postpartum circle through Cincy Postpartum, most recently transplanting to the Gem City in 2024.
With experience in both clinical and crisis settings, she brings a grounded, compassionate approach to supporting parents through matrescence—honoring the emotional, psychological, and identity shifts that accompany the transition into parenthood. Motherhood is her most important role and deeply informs her work. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys all things outdoors with her family, including hiking, biking, nature walks in Yellow Springs, and baking together.
